Luke founded the Aldeburgh shop in the summer of 2022, when an opportunity to take on an existing store from a friend became available. The first thing he did was shut the doors and rip the interior apart! For months he had been sketching out his vision for a fresh fish shop, now he had his chance to create that vision in to reality.

A passion for seafood runs in Lukes veins, coming from a commercial fishing family Luke has been skippering our family-owned commercial fishing vessels since leaving school. Having fished all around the country he is able to share his knowledge and experience with customers who are looking to understand where their dinner comes from.

Opening at the beginning of the summer holidays initially offering fresh fish, shellfish, and take away sea food platters Luke has continued to expand the business by creating an outdoor seating area and a larger menu.

Marriott Fisheries Aldeburgh store has quickly established itself as a hub for seafood lovers seeking the very best fresh fish and seafood meals that Aldeburgh has to offer. The shop now offers a large selection of fresh fish, shellfish, smoked fish, seafood platters, and seafood rolls.
